Oskar Smith

Oskar played the character of Joe in the play PHILADELPHIA, HERE I COME! which was directed by Geoff Gould at Cork Opera House.

He featured in Bryce Dallas Howard’s short film THE NOTE for Coca-Cola and will soon be filming a 4-part drama called DEAD & BURIED, directed by Laura Way for the BBC and Virgin Media.

Oskar also played a co-lead role in BELLA-INATOR for the National Film School.

Theatre credits include the role of Lion in THE WIZARD OF OZ, directed by Roy Ward, for which Oskar won Best Supporting Actor at the Bord Gais Student Theatre Awards 2016.

Other stage credits include William Shakespeare’s A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAMTHE GREAT WHITE, directed by James O’Sullivan, and Rueben in REVOLT, directed by Tony McLeane Fay, presented as part of the Cork Midsummer Festival.
