Nora Keneghan

Nora recently appeared on television as Sister Maria in the German-Irish co-production MY WHOLE HALF LIFE, directed by Michael Karen for Octagon & TV-60 Filmproduktion.

Film and television credits include Mrs Campbell in the feature comedy THE CLOSER YOU GET, directed by Aileen Ritchie for Redwave Films, and SOFT SAND BLUE SEA by Steven Butchard for Channel 4 Films. CROSSMAHEART (Lexington Films), FIRST COMMUNION DAYTHE BEACHAFTER ’68HEROESTHE FORGOTTENBarbara Cartland in the children’s series UNCLE MAX for CBBC and MIRACLE AT MIDNIGHT starring Mia Farrow and Sam Waterston.

Other TV credits include Sister Theresa in BALLYKISSANGEL, directed by Mike Croker (BBC) and roles in VIDEO DIARIESWOULD YOU BELIEVE, THE GOVERNOR (ITV) and FAIR CITY for RTÉ.

Nora made her professional stage debut in Joe Orton’s THE GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT at Andrews Lane Theatre, in which she played the leading role of Mrs Vealfoy to critical acclaim. A subsequent favourite theatrical part was one of the Witches in David Wood’s adaptation of Roald Dahl’s THE WITCHES at the Olympia Theatre.
