Fiona York

Fiona recently appeared in the television comedy-drama HARRY WILD as Susan Henderson on Acorn TV.  

She wrapped the horror feature NIGHTMAN, directed by Melanie Delloye, due for general release in late 2023.

Recent film and television credits include SWEETNESS IN THE BELLY, directed by Zeresenay Mehari for Parallel Films, MATTIE with RTÉ and PRINCE WILLIAM, directed by Michael W. Watkins for FOX TV.

Other Film and television credits include OLIVER TWIST starring Richard Dreyfuss, for Walt Disney TV and Miss Creakle in DAVID COPPERFIELD for Hallmark. FAIR CITY (RTÉ), KAROLINE AND THE MAGIC VIOLIN and THE GOVERNOR, written by Lynda La Plante for Yorkshire Television.

Fiona worked for the BBC in several costume dramas such as THE SILVER SPUR, REDGAUNTLET and the successful soap EMERGENCY WARD 10

In West End theatre, she appeared in MAJORITY OF ONE, ROLLO and WINGS OF THE DOVE. Moving to Ireland, she joined a production of BLOOD WEDDING with the newly formed Sevenwoods company in Sligo. Other theatre credits include HAMLET with Island Theatre Company, THE UNFORTUNATE HUSBAND at Andrews Lane, JACKO for Yew Tree, ONCE A CATHOLIC at the Eblana Theatre and THE CONSTANT COUPLE for Red Kettle in Waterford.

Fiona toured extensively with her one-woman show ROSE by Martin Sherman. She performed in Edinburgh in 2006, Adelaide in 2007, and venues throughout Ireland.
