Robert Zawadzki

Robert was seen in QUIETLY (dir. Jimmy Fay) a new play by Owen McCafferty which premiered on the Peacock stage in November 2012. Performed at the Traverse Theatre as part of the Edinburgh Festival Finge 2013 and having enjoyed huge international success – winning three major awards (Writers’ Guild Award for Best Play/Edinburgh Fringe First Award/Stage Awards for Best Actor), the production toured across Ireland and also performed at Soho Theatre, London for a 4 week run and played the Ruhrfestspiele Recklinghausen Festival, Germany.

His film credits include THE PIANIST (2002) directed by Roman Polanski, MY BIG FAT MOONIE WEDDDING (2007) directed by Brian Henry Martin, WITHIN THE WHIRLWIND (2010) directed by Marlene Gorris, WENECJA (2010) directed by Jan Jakub Kolski. Robert has made several television appearances in his native Poland, these include PIERWSZA NORMAN, CZAS HONORU, NIANIA, NA WSPÓLNEJ, SAMO ZYCIE, SWIAT WEDLUG KIEPSKICH, TERAZ ALBO NIGDY, KRYMINALNI, internet show ZAPACH WLADZY and Michal Bielinski in PROWA AGATY directed by Maciej Migas with TVN.

He appeared opposite James Nesbitt in crime/drama series MURPHY’S LAW created by Colin Bateman and directed by Colm McCarthy for the BBC. Robert recently filmed 90 minute thiller ANNA AND MODERN SLAVERY written and directed by Magda M. Olchwaska for Mayan Films.
