In theatre, he played Robert in QUIETLY by Owen McCafferty (dir. Jimmy Fay), premiered at the Abbey Theatre in November 2012 and performed at the Traverse Theatre as part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2013 – subsequently winning three major awards (Writers’ Guild Award for Best Play/Edinburgh Fringe First Award/Stage Awards for Best Actor). The production toured across Ireland and performed at Soho Theatre, London for a 4 week run, and also played the Ruhrfestspiele Recklinghausen Festival, Germany. In 2016, Quietly was invited to play at The Irish Repertory Theatre, New York, USA.
