Noel O’Donovan

Noel has worked extensively in all major theatre companies including the Abbey National Theatre, Druid, The Gaiety and The Olympia. He first appeared on screen in 1984 in much-admired television drama ANNE DEVLIN for RTÉ.

In film, he worked alongside Richard Harris in THE FIELD, Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman in FAR AND AWAY. He was seen in THE BOXER directed by Jim Sheridan, TROJAN EDDIE, FALLING FOR A DANCER, EDEN and ONE HUNDRED MORNINGS. Noel also appeared in Ken Loach’s THE WIND THAT SHAKES THE BARLEY – Palme d’Or winner Cannes Film Festival 2006.

Other previous television credits include THE AMBASSADOR, SHOWBANDS, HIDE & SEEK, MATTIE (RTÉ), ST. IVES (ITV), POBAL Y CWM (BBC Wales), BALLYKISSANGEL and EASTENDERS (BBC). His most recent screen work includes LEAP YEAR directed by Arnand Tucker and TITANIC: BLOOD & STEEL – nominated for 5 IFTA Awards including Best Series and Best Director.
