Eric Higgins

Eric was most recently seen in six-part comedy drama CAN’T COPE, WON’T COPE created by Stefanie Preissner and directed by Cathy Brady for Deadpan Pictures.

He played Knut in the first series of Michael Hirsts’ action/adventure series VIKINGS directed Johan Renck for History, screened internationally in 2013 and 2014. He also appeared alongside Jonathan Rhys Myers (King Henry) as his Groom across several episodes of hit period drama THE TUDORS directed by Steve Shill and Ciaran Donnelly for Showtime.

Theatre credits include, Eric’s Abbey Theatre debut in Oscar Wilde’s THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST and soon after, played Hopkins in THE CRUCIBLE directed by Patrick Mason, and appeared in THE BURIAL AT THEBES by Seamus Heaney at the same venue. In addition to his Abbey Theatre performances, he worked with such company’s as Cahoots NI, Ouroboros, Rough Magic Seeds and Bedrock.
