Barry John Kinsella

Barry has just finished filming NOTHING LASTS FOREVER for Causeway Pictures and HARRY WILD – SEASON 2 for Metropolitan Films and Acorn TV.

In 2022, he filmed the role of Michael Whithall in SANCTUARY, directed by Lisa Mulcahy and Justin Molotnikov, for AMC and Monumental Pictures.

Soon he will appear as Duncan in a screen adaptation of Seán Kelly’s TUESDAY TRADERS, directed by Luke Corcoran for Big Bay Entertainment. He played ‘Andy Hebb’ in MAXINE, produced by Clapperboard for Paramount Network and aired on Channel 5.

Recent film credits include WHO WE LOVE, directed by Graham Cantwell, THE BLACK GUELPH, directed by John Connors; and Detective Evan Cole in the short film FOREVER HOLD YOUR PEACE, directed by Jason Branagan for Liberty Video.

Other recent credits include INNOCENT, directed by Tracey Larcombe, HUM, directed by Mo O’Connell, COPY THAT, DO I KNOW YOU? for Curve Ball Films; and MRS H, directed by Heather Grogan.

Previous screen work includes Felix Castaldo’s feature THE ROLLOVER and John Farrelly’s THE SLEEP EXPERIMENTTom in the television pilot TX, directed by Claire Cassidy, and WAVE, directed by TJ Peyton O’Grady and Oscar winner Benjamin Cleary.

Barry graduated from The Lir Academy in July 2018, making his professional stage debut on the Peacock Stage at the Abbey Theatre playing Bobby in MADHOUSE. He also played Jay Gatsby in the Gate Theatre and Tom in the two-hander play SKIN TIGHT, nominated for an Irish Times Theatre Award.
