Anthony is filming a role in comedy feature ANIMALS directed by Sophie Hyde (Sundance award-winning director of feature film 52 Tuesdays) starring Holliday Grainger & Alia Shawkat.

Recent screen credits include THE MAN WHO INVENTED CHRISTMAS directed by Bharat Nalluri, the role of Matthews in six-part period drama THE FRANKENSTEIN CHRONICLES directed by Benjamin Ross for ITV Encore, acclaimed Police drama RED ROCK directed by Rob Burke (TV3), and Carsten in Victorian crime series RIPPER STREET directed by Tom Shankland for the BBC.

Other film and television appearances include the role of Taxman opposite Jason Statham in action/adventure HUMMINGBIRD directed by Steven Knight, Part Shortt’s comedy KILLINASKULLY (RTÉ) and the role of Drubber in TROUBLE IN PARADISE with Great Western Films. He played Billy Tiernan in equestrian drama ROUGH DIAMOND directed by Simon Massey (BBC) and Zippy in Mark O’Halloran Dublin street story ADAM & PAUL directed by Lenny Abrahamson for Element Pictures. Further work includes MATTIE directed by Shimmy Marcus for RTÉ, historical 12-part drama TITANIC: BLOOD & STEEL directed by Ciaran Donnelly for Netflix and appeared as Tickler in critically acclaimed hit fantasy series GAME OF THRONES created by D.B. Weiss and George R.R. Martin for HBO.

Recent stage credits include THIS BEACH directed by Feidlim Cannon & Gary Keegan for Brokentalkers and THE REHEARSAL, PLAYING THE DANE directed by Gavin Quinn for Pan Pan, performed at the Wuzhen Theatre Festival in 2017.

Further credits include THIS EBONY BIRD directed by Geoff Gould as part of the Cork Fit Up Festival 2013, ROMEO & JULIET and THE LAST BEAUTY SPOT directed by Pat Kiernan with Corcadorca, THE SNOW GIRL and THE BELFRY (Livin’ Dred), THE MERCHANT OF VENICE, WOYZECH,  MOUTH (Project Cube), PAPER TIGERS (Edinburgh Festival), THE NIGHT BEFORE and BONDI BEACH BLUE BOY (Fishamble), UBU (Dublin Fringe Festival), THE MAGIC MACBRE (Olympia) and Peter in PETER PAN directed by David Horan at the Pavilion Theatre.

Anthony also played Dean in Billy Roche’s LAY ME DOWN SOFTLY at Project Arts Centre, Dublin and Tricycle Theatre, London.
