Niamh recently finished filming the pilot for EVERY SATURDAY NIGHT, a new TV drama, set in Sydney. She is currently appearing in Duncan Sheik’s (American Psycho, Spring Awakening) musical WHISPER HOUSE directed Adam Lenson at The Other Palace, London until 27th May.
Niamh will next appear as “Girl” in John Tiffany’s award-winning musical ONCE, running from 30th June until 28th August at the Olympia Theatre, Dublin.
She competed as one of the finalists in the BBC talent show-themed television series I’D DO ANYTHING in 2008 and played Fleck in the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical LOVE NEVER DIES at the Adelphi Theatre. She performed in FRANKENSTEIN’S WEDDING – a live musical drama based on Mary Shelly’s novel, the show was broadcast live on BBC Three on 19 March 2011 from Kirkstall Abbey.
Previous stage work includes Kim in the hugely successful revival of Boy George musical TABOO at Brixton Club House (BroadwayWorld.com Award nomination for Best Featured Actress 2012), ONLY THE BRAVE (Edinburgh Festival), title role in SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS at Eastbourne Theatres, LITTLE PRINCE (Lyric Theatre, Belfast), LES MISÉRABLES IN CONCERT and starred as Sophie in MAMMA MIA! directed by Phylida Lloyd at Prince of Wales Theatre. More recently she played Joanne in Stephen Sondheim’s musical classic SWEENEY TODD (directed by James Brining) at West Yorkshire Playhouse and Manchester Royal Exchange theatre’s.
More recently, she played Sophie in MAMMA MIA! performed in major theatre’s across the globe, directed by Phyllida Lloyd for Littlestar and appeared as Pandora in EXPOSURE directed by Phil Willmot at St James Theatre.
