Joanne King

Joanne will soon appear on television in NORTHERN LIGHTS, created by Stephen Jones and directed by Tom Hall and Ruth Meehan for Deadpan Pictures. 

She played ‘Cynthia Pike’, a regular series role in CASUALTY on BBC1 and more recently appeared as Ada O’Melia in STRIKING OUT on RTÉ1.

Television credits include Lady Rochford in THE TUDORS for Showtime, Nancy in MASSIVE, opposite comedian Jonny Vegas (BBC) and Brandi in SHAMELESS (Channel 4). She appeared in TRIAL AND RETRIBUTION, directed by Gillies McKinnon (ITV), THE OMID JHALILI SHOW (BBC), THE EXILE FILES (TG4) and FAIR CITY (RTÉ). 

Film credits include the title role of ‘Girl’ in the award-winning short film THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF KEVIN KIND (Fastnet Films), and BOY EATS GIRL, directed by Stephen Bradley for Element Films. 

Theatre credits include WHAT THE DEAD WANT and ELYSIAN JUNIORS directed by Jimmy Fay (Project), THE PLAYBOY OF THE WESTERN WORLD with Yew Tree Theatre Company, CAROLLING CORCORAN’S at The Ark, A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM (Pavilion) and Ophelia in HAMLET at Cork Opera House

Joanne appeared as Caryl in the world premiere of PERSONAL ENEMY at the White Bear Theatre in Kennington. The production also performed at 59E59 Theaters, New York, as part of the ‘Brits Off-Broadway.

Video Game voice-over credits include ‘Moutemouia in THE SECRET WORLD (EA), ‘Breaker Thram’ in DRAGON AGE: INQUISITION for Bioware and ‘Kiera Harrison’ in FORZA HORIZON 3 & 4 with Playground Games.
