Ann O’Neill

Anne recently appeared in Dermot Bolger’s trilogy of plays – FROM THESE GREEN HEIGHTSTHE TOWNLANDS OF BRAZIL and THE CONSEQUENCES OF LIGHTNING at Axis Theatre.

Abbey Theatre credits include Ger in TREEHOUSES, directed by Jason Byrne and Mary in THE INVISIBLE MENDING COMPANY, directed by Ben Barnes. 

Other stage credits include THE FIELD and MOLL by John B. Keane, directed by Ben Barnes at the Gaiety Theatre. At Project Arts Centre, Ann worked with Rachel West on the two-hander WINTER by Jon Fosse. She portrayed Edwina in THE DEADMAN’S BEARD, directed by Geoff Gould, and played Mrs Alving in Tom Kilroy’s version of GHOSTS by Henrik Ibsen at the Everyman Palace.

Television work includes the period crime drama FOYLE’S WAR, directed by Stuart Orme for ITV, Sue Kenny in RTÉ‘s FAIR CITY; VAL FALVEY TD, written by Arthur Mathews for Grand Pictures and THE CLINIC, directed by Robert Quinn for Parallel. 

Film credits include THE BUTCHER BOY, directed by Neil Jordan; ANGELA’S ASHES, directed by Alan Parker, ORDINARY DECENT CRIMINAL starring Kevin Spacey and directed by Thaddeus O’Sullivan and LUCKY LORD LUCAN, directed by Brian Grant.
